Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell has worked as a chef, TV host in America as well as an instructor at the Institute of Culinary Education. She hosts The Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant Chef and co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, a Food Network host who has spiky blond wigs and a pumped-up persona, shows how to cook restaurant-style dishes at home using simple methods. The chef Burrell is also an experienced chef of New York City's best restaurants. She has also studied Italy's culinary tradition and the culture of Italy, as well as the geography. As a child in the upstate of New York, Chef Burrell was captivated by cooking and eating in her early years. After earning an English and Communications degree in Canisius College in Buffalo NY she pursued her interest in the restaurant business by enrolling at The Culinary Institute of America. The Culinary Institute of America has been a great experience. The Culinary Institute of the Americas was a fantastic opportunity to pursue a degree. After graduation, Burrell spent one year studying in the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners and working in the Umbrian restaurant La Taverna del Lupo as well as Tuscany's La Bottega del 30, a Michelin-starred restaurant. She gained a deeper understanding of Italian culture and cuisine during her stay in Italy, which has influenced her style of cooking. Burrell has served on the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board that brightens children living with challenges. She is also an Juvenile diabetes research foundation Celebrity Ambassador. she promotes juvenile diabetes awareness. In her capacity as an inspirational speaker, she is on the road to share her passion for cuisine and to promote her professional career as a chef.
